Stop Fax Spam For Good

by Nathan Miller

In this article you're going to discover how to stop fax spam once and for all. You will be able to track down the real owner of any fax machine so you can identify the spammer, report him to the authorities, and maybe even collect some damages. Sound good? Great, then let's get started.

As a small business owner I rely a lot on my fax machine for my day to day operations. And there's few things that drive me more crazy than fax spam. I'll be sitting in my office working on something important and suddenly I hear a call coming in on my fax machine. I stop what I'm doing to see what is coming through. I'm expecting to see an order form or an important communication but instead it's just another unsolicited and unwanted ad. It's bad enough that this junk faxes always interrupt me right in the middle of something important. But it really bugs me that my paper and ink is being wasted on this garbage.

If you've been receiving fax spam then listen up and I'll tell you just what to do.

The first step is to print out and file away the spam faxes so you have concrete evidence. Then you can contact the company by telephone and ask them to remove your number from their list. If they continue to bother you with unwanted faxes you may be able to sue them for anywhere between $500 and $1500 per fax. If they've faxed you many times the damages can really add up so you'll want to keep a record of all fax spam they send you in addition to keeping copies of the faxes themselves. And be sure that your machine is set to time stamp all incoming documents as they are received so you can prove how many and how often they were sent.

Now if you don't have the telephone number of the sender don't worry. Their fax number should appear on the header of your printout so all you have to do is use a reverse FaxNumberLookup.net service to track down their telephone number too. The service I recommend is located at FaxNumberLookup.net

Teleflex EcoTrans APU

Fuel prices continue to rise, and they eat up a large part of your operating budget. By installing the Teleflex EcoTrans® Locomotive Auxiliary Power Unit you can significantly reduce your fuel budget. The Teleflex EcoTrans® can cut your winter idle time fuel bill by 80 percent or more and help to get your locomotive EPA compliant in one step.

The Teleflex EcoTrans® Locomotive Auxiliary Power Unit can shut down your main engine at idle. You can save fuel and reduce harmful emissions by as much as approx. five Tons (versus running locomotive without APU at idle). The Auxiliary Power Unit can give you standard 120/240 VAC auxiliary power for everything from air conditioners to air compressors.

Trust the brand developed for the railroad by the railroad to protect your locomotive! By installing the Teleflex EcoTrans® Locomotive Auxiliary Power Unit kit you're installing a sentinel system to stand guard over vital main engine operations. It keeps oil and water warm while the main engine is at idle, and provides auxiliary power for conventional 120/240 VAC applications.
